81st AA Red Carpet Oscars By BDS2006Getting Oscar-ready may require fittings, special diets and fitness training sessions. However, the gifting suites and lounges in Los Angeles held in the days leading up to the Academy Awards also ensure celebs get pampered with manicures, spray tans and facials while browsing for accessories to wear on the red carpet like watches, jewelry and handbags. They also get showered with free gifts from vendors ready to offer nominees everything from luxury resort trips, to face creams, to headphones and more.

The freebie fest kicks off Wednesday and runs through Saturday, the day before the 87th Annual Academy Awards air on Sunday. And don’t worry if you don’t take home a statue because one company is even offering a “loser gift bag” this year that will make you feel like a winner.
